Pieper Veterinary is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician that is passionate about anesthesia and surgical care to join our General Practice at Pieper Veterinary Berlin Street located in Middletown, CT. Requirements

• Experience with common induction agents/anesthetic agents/analgesia agents
• Ability to calculate CRIs and perform other medical math
• Experience with ventilators
• Experience with specialty anesthesia (emergent procedures specifically) is a must
• Can read ECG, capnograph and respond appropriately
• Knowledge on how and when to use a non-rebreather circuit
• Knowledge when to react with BP readings and what to do in each situation
• Skilled in time management with an understanding of the importance of table times
• Must be 18 years or older to apply

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EzyVet
• CVT is preferred but not required

• Anesthesia and surgical care

• Respond appropriately to ECG and capnograph readings
• React appropriately to BP readings and take necessary actions
• Manage time effectively with an understanding of the importance of table times
