Veterinary Technician, Surgery
About The Position
First Coast Veterinary Specialists & Emergency located in Jacksonville Beach, FL is searching for a Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery Service! This is a full-time position with four 10-hour day shifts between Monday - Friday, and participation in rotating on-call weekends. The ideal candidate is an experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. They understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value. They can adapt to the individual needs of each patient, are eager to continue enhancing their skill set, and truly want to make a difference. First Coast Veterinary Specialists is a growing 24-hour emergency hospital that specializes in neurology, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgery. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years working as a veterinary technician
- Anesthesia experience required
- A strong skillset and veterinary knowledge base
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required
Nice To Haves
- CVT or VTS certification is prioritized
- Fluency in multiple languages a plus
