It is the responsibility of the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician to provide quality and compassionate care to all GCVS patients. They are responsible for all technical aspects of patient exams including but not limited to coordinating with clients and other members of the hospital, and performing imaging, phlebotomy, sedation, restraint, and other treatments or procedures. Additional duties include exam and diagnostics coordination, medical record keeping, sample collection, inventory, and aseptic control. They must have good communication skills with hospital staff and clients to perform delegated tasks and produce quality results. This position requires a dependable, high-energy person who can handle multiple tasks at one time as well as a high stress, fast pace environment.
