About The Position
Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician Liaison to join our Neurology Department in Woburn, MA. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Technician who wants to use their medical knowledge, client communication skills, and specialty medicine experience in a collaborative care coordination role. As a Veterinary Technician Liaison, you’ll remain closely connected to patient care while supporting communication, education, and organization between our Neurology team and the pet families we serve.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
Nice To Haves
- Neurology experience is a plus!
- AS/BS in Veterinary Technology, Biology, or Animal Science is helpful
- A passion for client communication and education
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Educating pet owners using Ethos-approved and accredited resources
- Guiding clients through their pet’s care journey, answering questions with compassion and expertise
- Providing timely updates on hospitalized patients
- Documenting all client communication accurately in medical records
- Supporting the team with treatment plan coordination, prescriptions, and client education
