Pieper Veterinary Berlin Street in Middletown, CT, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our Urgent Care team. This role is ideal for a technician who is passionate about patient care, confident in their technical abilities, and eager to step into a leadership position within a collaborative, team-focused setting. As an Urgent Care Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to utilize your full skill set while guiding and supporting a dedicated team of professionals. You will work alongside experienced colleagues in an environment where your expertise is valued, your leadership is supported, and your contributions directly impact both patient outcomes and team success. At Pieper Veterinary, our vision is simple: to make the community – and the animals and people – happier and healthier. If that mission resonates with you and you’re ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to connect. Our hospital locations work closely together with each other as well as the Specialty/ER location in Middletown to provide the best possible care for the pets we see. We want to retain and develop our talent to the best of our ability. You can expect numerous in-house CE opportunities, and any mentoring available to support and achieve your goals. We pride ourselves on recognizing top talent and strong work ethic and if you demonstrate those things, you can expect to be promoted from within. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to lead the organization, coordination, and supervision of shared resources and staff within our specialty service. In this Supervisor role, you will continue to function as a Veterinary Technician while also providing leadership, direction, training, and ongoing support to your team. The ideal candidate is a technician with strong anesthesia proficiency and a commitment to clinical excellence. This role requires both advanced technical expertise and the ability to guide others through mentorship, clear communication, and consistent support in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you will play a key role in upholding hospital standards, promoting established protocols, and fostering a respectful, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture. At Pieper, we believe veterinary medicine is a team-driven profession, and we are looking for a confident, motivated leader who thrives in collaboration and is dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care.
