Requirements

  • Veterinary Technician experience in emergency, ICU, or specialty practice preferred
  • CVT, LVT, or RVT strongly preferred, but experienced non-credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply
  • Strong technical skills and confidence handling critical patients
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, patient-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in emergency situations
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinically
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary Technician experience in emergency, ICU, or specialty practice

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and continuous monitoring for ICU and hospitalized patients
  • Obtain and record patient vitals, treatments, and assessments accurately
  • Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed
  • Assist doctors with diagnostics, emergency procedures, and treatment plans
  • Monitor anesthesia and sedation recovery as needed
  • Perform laboratory sample collection and patient restraint
  • Operate and support advanced monitoring equipment
  • Collaborate with ER, ICU, and Specialty teams to provide exceptional patient care
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and client care teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment space
