Veterinary Technician - Critical Care
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our ICU/Critical Care team. This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience and credentials. The schedule involves working the back-end of the week with either 3x12s or 4x10s. The pay rate ranges from $22.15 to $44.91 per hour, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends. This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through a competency assessment tool. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum, with specific rates provided for evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
- Triage and obtain patient history.
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
- Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
- Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
- Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.
