Requirements

Experienced Veterinary Technicians
Committed and passionate about enriching lives through remarkable care for pets
Ability to induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
Ability to triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
Ability to perform digital radiography using proper technique including proper positioning of patients.
Complete understanding of normal ranges of patient vital signs, including but not limited to heart and respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
Ability to obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes and issues.
Ability to identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
Ability to properly calculate medical math (including constant rate infusions) and administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.
Proficient at performing phlebotomy and placing intravenous catheters in all peripheral vessels.
Ability to place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
Possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
Perform digital radiography using proper technique including proper positioning of patients.
