As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will support technicians and doctors while helping maintain a clean, efficient, and compassionate hospital environment.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic required
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to animal handling
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work day and evening shifts
Availability for some Saturdays each month
Dependable and detail-oriented with strong cleaning standards

Responsibilities

Assist technicians and veterinarians with examinations and procedures
Use fear-free handling techniques when working with patients
Obtain patient histories for exams
Perform blood draws, radiographs, and nail trims under doctor direction while working with a technician
Maintain hospital cleanliness
Support overall clinic workflow and patient care
