About The Position

Epic Tails Veterinary Clinic is hiring two full-time Veterinary Technicians or Assistants. Requirements

  • Skilled with the technical stuff: Low-stress and fear-free restraint and handling of cats and dogs
  • Experience working with birds and small mammals is a bonus
  • Lab work
  • Radiograph positioning and safety
  • Injections (SQ, IV, IM)
  • IV catheter placement
  • Medication dispensing
  • Medical record maintenance
  • Restraint for exams
  • Supporting veterinarians during procedures and appointments
  • Hospital maintenance, stocking, and cleanliness
  • Anesthesia monitoring and administration experience is a strong plus, but we can train a motivated learner!
  • Skilled with the soft stuff: client communication and education, conflict resolution, answering phones, and taking payments
  • Knowledgeable about common disease states
  • Able to work under pressure, in new environments
  • Interested in growing your skillset and learning new things
  • Someone who believes in welcoming clients into the medical process by educating, supporting, comforting, and treating them as individuals
