Requirements
- Current California RVT license preferred for technician candidates
- Experienced Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply
- Strong patient handling and nursing skills
- Experience with venipuncture, diagnostics, radiology, and laboratory procedures
- Surgical and anesthesia experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and laboratory procedures
- Obtain high-quality radiographs
- Monitor patients and provide supportive care
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional client and patient experience
