About The Position
We are seeking a full-time outgoing and organized individual to join the Veterinary Receptionist team at our busy hospital. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will greet pet owners and check in pets, schedule appointments, process payments, and generally ensure that the hospital is a welcoming place.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar role required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication with clients and coworkers
- Comfortable working with a variety of animals
- Proficient in office software, scheduling software, and other technology
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Avimark a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet owners as they arrive
- Check-in animal patients for their appointments
- Collect and confirm pet and owner information
- Answer phones
- Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
- Process payments
- Other administrative duties, as assigned
