Veterinary Receptionist
About The Position
Great Lakes Veterinary Dermatology, a state-of-the-art dermatology practice in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join their dynamic team. In this position, you will be a vital part of the medical process, working closely with a Board-Certified Dermatologist and technical team to manage complex cases, provide enhanced quality of life via treatments, and serve as a communication bridge between the doctor and client. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual with a positive demeanor, takes initiative, and is committed to the needs of the clinic. Punctuality, willingness to teach and share ideas, adaptability to change, ability to see the big picture, and professionalism and care when dealing with patients/clients are essential.
Requirements
- 1 year of veterinary experience OR 1 year of customer service experience required
- Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is a plus
- Must have experience working in the public (i.e., restaurant, retail or service business)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Dependable attendance is required
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- The ability to walk, sit, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
