About The Position

East Towne Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist. As a Client Care Specialist, you are the first impression of our hospital—playing a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for every client and pet who walks through our doors. We are a compassionate, client-focused veterinary practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to their owners.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Excellent customer service and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, upbeat attitude
  • Comfort with computer systems (Avimark and Microsoft Office experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, patients, and guests with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage communications
  • Process payments, balance the cash drawer, and manage client accounts
  • Maintain accurate patient records and obtain prior medical history
  • Perform basic triage and direct urgent or emergency cases appropriately
  • Keep the reception and lobby areas clean, organized, and welcoming
