About The Position

Noah’s Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist who genuinely enjoys helping people, loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a collaborative and supportive team. The reception team at Noah’s Ark does more than answer phones; they guide the client experience, advocate for pets, support hospital flow, and provide a reassuring presence for clients. The ideal candidate communicates with compassion and professionalism, stays organized under pressure, and actively contributes to a positive, solutions-focused team culture. Experience in veterinary reception or animal care is preferred but not required for the right candidate, as attitude, teamwork, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a desire to learn are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Help create a welcoming, compassionate, and organized experience for clients and patients
• Coordinate scheduling and appointment flow in a busy multi-service veterinary practice
• Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person regarding appointments, medications, records, and general questions
• Support the veterinary team through accurate record keeping, organization, and proactive communication
• Prepare for appointments by reviewing and updating client records and ensuring needed forms are ready in advance
• Educate clients on preventative healthcare recommendations, products, and services that support their pet’s health and wellbeing
• Assist clients with questions regarding medications, prescription diets, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, wellness recommendations, and other veterinary services
• Maintain a clean, professional, and team-oriented front desk environment
• Perform general administrative and clerical tasks including mail handling, document preparation, organization, and hospital communication support
