Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in veterinary assistance is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary or healthcare reception role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and veterinary software.
  • Passion for animal welfare and client service.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in clients and their pets with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized front desk.
  • Handle phone inquiries, provide information, and book appointments.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with client education regarding services and pet care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Handle client complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
