About The Position

Creature Comforts Veterinary Resort and Suites, Inc. (CCVRS) is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining the hospital reception area, greeting clients and patients, answering questions, triaging concerns, managing calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and processing check-ins, check-outs, and payments. The receptionist must provide emotional support to clients in a compassionate and discreet manner, be comfortable with various medical outcomes, and be able to tolerate unpleasant odors, noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases. CCVRS offers opportunities for growth through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.

Requirements

Experienced Receptionist
Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
Greet and welcome clients and patients
Answer questions and triage client concerns
Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
Check in and check out clients
Process payments
Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients
Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
Withstand unpleasant odors and noises
Be prepared for potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
