Veterinary Receptionist
About The Position
Stonecliff Animal Clinic of New Hampshire is seeking a passionate Veterinary Receptionist to join their growing team. This role is crucial in maintaining the hospital's reception area, welcoming clients and patients, and providing compassionate support. The clinic is a multi-doctor, full-service general practice that has been providing high-quality veterinary medicine since 1990. They are AAHA accredited, USDA accredited, and part of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. The clinic aims to provide the best veterinary medical care with state-of-the-art equipment and knowledgeable staff, committed to educating clients about their pets' health. They welcome both experienced professionals and those new to veterinary medicine, offering opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
- Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
- Highly organized and possess computer skills
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
- Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
- May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
Responsibilities
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- Greet and welcome clients and patients
- Answer questions and triage client concerns
- Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- Check in and check out clients and process payments
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
- Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
