About The Position

HomeTown Animal Hospital is searching for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team. Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience
  • A genuine love of animals and the people who care for them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • A positive attitude and collaborative mindset
  • Compassion, empathy, and professionalism
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the veterinary profession

Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary reception experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage multiple phone lines while providing exceptional customer service
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
  • Check patients in and out for appointments
  • Process client payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Keep the reception and lobby areas clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the medical team
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information within the practice management system
  • Support the hospital with additional administrative responsibilities as needed
