About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brentwood, TN is hiring for Relief Veterinary Receptionists! This role is crucial to the success of our hospital, as you will be the first point of contact for clients. You will ensure each client receives the care and attention they need, functioning calmly and compassionately in potentially emotional and difficult situations. Responsibilities

• Greet clients with friendly eye contact and offer warm, professional acknowledgement.
• Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
• Listen compassionately and speak clearly, slowly, and calmly.
• Assess client needs and pet condition upon arrival, determining emergency status.
• Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
• Confirm appointments in advance, ensuring clients receive accurate preparation information.
• Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients compassionately and discreetly.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during the handling of pet remains.
