About The Position

Allentown Animal Care is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of their veterinary hospital. This role partners with the Lead Veterinarian and Community Veterinary Partners to support the team, deliver excellent client service, and meet hospital goals. The Practice Manager will lead, coach, and develop hospital team members, support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management. They will also oversee daily hospital operations, facility needs, inventory, and equipment, address client concerns, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations. This role partners with hospital leadership on budgeting, financial performance, payroll, and purchasing, and supports marketing, community outreach, and client communication efforts. The Practice Manager will also manage administrative systems, meetings, and other hospital processes, and may work occasional hospital shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of veterinary hospital management experience
  • College education preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Emergency or specialty experience preferred
  • Veterinary practice management certification is a plus
