We’re seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our dynamic East Austin team with vision, accountability, and heart. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in a management role, including customer service experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a veterinary or medical management setting
  • Strong leadership skills with high emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn Practice Management Software
  • Effective delegation and time management skills with the ability to achieve results through others
  • Positive interpersonal skills with staff and clients; thrives in a team environment
  • Flexible, forward-thinking, and passionate about innovation and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Manage, plan, and coordinate the practice’s overall operations while cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Manager to develop long-term practice vision and goals
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a compassionate veterinary team at PAZ East
  • Develop your team through regular staff meetings, one-on-one feedback, and annual reviews
  • Maintain compliance with organizations such as OSHA and the DEA
  • Manage client retention by demonstrating and reinforcing exceptional client service
  • Oversee all financial responsibilities including payroll, accounts receivable, pricing, and inventory
  • Partner with Hospital Leadership to lead the team, maintain a great hospital culture, and ensure financial success
  • Implement efficient processes while maintaining our culture of creativity and care
  • Foster accountability, communication, and team engagement
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance to keep the hospital running smoothly
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and Innovetive Petcare leadership to support hospital goals and growth
