About The Position

Bellevue Emergency Veterinary & Specialty (BVES) is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Ophthalmologist for its Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the Pacific Northwest. BVES provides referral and emergency services to the Bellevue and Seattle area and emphasizes excellent medicine and patient care in a supportive, culture-focused environment.

The hospital’s specialties include surgery, internal medicine, medical oncology, cardiology, radiology, and clinical pathology. A fully equipped and staffed emergency department and ICU support case management. The hospital also offers a diagnostic laboratory, digital radiography, advanced CT imaging, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Daily case rounds, continuing education, and additional training opportunities support collaborative learning and development.

The ideal candidate is collaborative and self-motivated, enjoys community outreach, and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture. Compensation is $250,000–$275,000.
