About The Position

Modern Animal is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to support its Los Feliz clinic in Los Angeles, California. The role uses an RVT license to its highest level and contributes to high-quality veterinary care through clinical tasks, client communication, collaboration, and clinic upkeep. The nurse also represents the Modern Animal brand and may help implement local marketing efforts to grow clinic membership. Successfully completed the VTNE.

Responsibilities

Use an RVT license to its highest level.
Record accurate medical records using appropriate veterinary terminology.
Complete laboratory work as needed.
Perform radiology with an understanding of appropriate fields.
Complete medical calculations as needed.
Apply knowledge of veterinary pharmacology.
Log controlled medications.
Clean and maintain the clinic as needed.
Collaborate closely with DVMs and coworkers.
Communicate discharge instructions to owners.
Perform duties autonomously.
Act as a Modern Animal brand ambassador, including implementing local marketing efforts to grow clinic membership as needed.
Support continuous learning, improvement, and excellence.
Live and model Modern Animal’s cultural vision, including encouraging work/life balance, self-compassion, and a blame- and judgment-free work environment.
