An established specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Portland, OR is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist to join a collaborative, multi-specialty team in a state-of-the-art facility. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Board-certified (ACVIM – Oncology) or residency-trained
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in oncology
- Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive approach
- Excellent communication and client care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced oncology care for small animal patients
- Develop and manage comprehensive cancer treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and critical care
- Utilize advanced diagnostics and imaging to support case management
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and outcomes
- Participate in case rounds and contribute to a strong learning environment
