About The Position

Desert Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to join their team. This AAHA accredited hospital has been serving the Yuma community for over 30 years and is looking to expand due to the growing pet population. The clinic offers a collaborative and teaching-focused environment with a highly skilled team. They operate out of a 10,000sf building equipped with modern technology, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, a dental suite, surgical laser, and a CT machine. The clinic emphasizes trust, compassion, stability, and communication in its client relationships. They are open to mentoring new graduates or welcoming established veterinarians.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)

Responsibilities

Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the full support of medical systems and team.
Provide medical leadership and support to the veterinary team.
Collaborate with skilled technicians, dedicated CSRs, and strong leadership.
Mentor new graduates or established veterinarians.
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
Focus on continuous growth and excellence in patient care and client relationships.
