About The Position

Frontier Veterinary Clinic is a full service veterinary hospital that provides thorough, compassionate, modern, and affordable care for your animals. Formerly known as Mobile Veterinary Clinic, we have been serving Abilene's pets and their families since 1976. It is our mission to positively impact people's lives through the health and wellness of their pets. Kennel technicians are responsible for the day-to -day care of pet resort guests and for the cleanliness and sanitation of the Pet Resort interior and exterior. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well-being of dogs and cats. The kennel tech will also occasionally assist doctors and technicians with pet restraint for procedures or anesthesia induction. Ensuring the comfort of our animal patients and instilling confidence in our human clients is the foundation of our mission here at Frontier. We proudly accomplish this through exceptional customer service, compassionate animal skills, as well as through the routine sanitation of the entire facility- from the inside-out.
