About The Position
Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Exam Room Assistant / Scribe to join our team. We are a high-quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and client service in a fun, engaging, and professional environment. Located in the charming community of Willoughby Hills, Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited small-animal practice offering boarding and grooming services. Requirements
- Strong data entry and medical terminology skills
- Excellent client service, communication, and multitasking abilities
- High level of computer proficiency

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Responsibilities
- Support DVMs during appointments and exam room flow
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Obtain accurate medical histories and patient information
- Enter medical data and maintain clear, accurate patient records
- Educate clients and communicate treatment plans clearly
- Assist with client questions, recommendations, and follow-up care
- Help manage multiple appointments efficiently throughout the day
- Maintain clean, organized, and presentable exam room areas
- Support daily hospital workflow and collaborate with doctors and team members
