About Us: IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital is an AAHA and Cat Friendly hospital that has provided innovative and compassionate care to Indianapolis and its surrounding communities for over 25 years. Our team collaborates to provide aid and comfort to pets and their families when unforeseen medical conditions arise. Our facility boasts human-grade MRI, CT, a blood banking program, an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, Ezyvet, and VetRadar. About You: The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in customer service preferably working in a hospital environment. This person has a very established skillset and navigates all communication, including conflict, professionally and courteously. This is an invaluable position to serve the staff using creative problem-solving, upholding our gold standard of patient care, attention to detail, and continuing to foster a culture of teamwork. About the Role: This position serves as the intermediary between our clients, referring veterinarians, and emergency medical staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing patient records, auditing charges, addressing issues with emergency room clients, and maintaining internal workflows. Success in this role requires the ability to manage seeing animals in distress and emergency situations. Anticipated Schedule: This is a full-time position. Shift: Rotating 10/12-hour shifts to help support the needs of the hospital. Some weekends and holidays are required.
Requirements
