Chaparral Veterinary Center is searching for an organized and empathic veterinary receptionist to join our team. You will be greeting and welcoming patients with a sincere smile. Receptionists also educate clients on the importance of animal vaccinations, microchipping, parasite control and regular check-ups without giving clinical advice. Communicate with clients regarding the medical status of their pets. Provide accurate information to clients concerning fees, hospital policies and procedures. Receive and verify payments after each appointment. Schedule appointments for exams, medical progress checks, surgeries, and medical procedures. Work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital and practice philosophy. You must possess an incredible work ethic. You must have the ability to arrive on time and be ready for the day to begin. It is very important to have excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. The veterinary receptionist will be responsible for making sure that the front office remains presentable at all times. Above all, you must be able to demonstrate warmth, courtesy, and professionalism.
