About The Position

VERG Brooklyn is seeking a Criticalist to join their team. This position focuses on critical care medicine, separate from incoming ER cases. The Critical Care service is central to the hospital, collaborating with specialists in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology, Cardiology, and more. The hospital receives referrals from over 400 local practices, ensuring a varied and clinically fulfilling caseload. The role offers opportunities to teach and mentor through a thriving internship program. VERG emphasizes a culture of listening, real collaboration, and continuous learning, with regular hospital-wide M&M and Journal Club meetings. The hospital is a modern, well-equipped 12,500-square-foot facility designed for advanced medicine.

Requirements

• Expertise in Critical Care.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to teach and mentor.
• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Board certification or residency completion in Critical Care.
