About The Position

VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center invites you to be our newest Emergency Patient Care Coordinator! Schedule: Full-time opportunity. Day/ 1st shift, 10a - 8p. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Doctors and Technician team by ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients and patients. Your ability to create a welcoming, low-stress environment will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care and client service. We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing top-tier support to both clients and the veterinary team. Requirements

Confidence around pets
Medical background, such as veterinary technician, human healthcare, or pharmaceutical.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing in-depth education on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
Coordinate patient care services to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of care.
Accurately enter and review charges to maintain precise billing and medical records.
Collaborate with all hospital departments to support seamless communication and patient care.
Manage and maintain medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
