About The Position

Friendship Hospital for Animals, a leading AAHA-accredited hospital located in Washington D.C., is seeking composed and compassionate Emergency/Critical Care (ECC) Coordinators to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in supporting seamless patient flow, case coordination, and communication with our medical teams. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and goes above and beyond to ensure the needs of both the client and the medical teams are met. Responsibilities include assisting with intake and discharge, facilitating the scheduling of follow-up services and transfers, and maintaining empathetic and professional communication in a dynamic environment. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with previous client-facing experience in a veterinary emergency setting.
