About The Position

PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to our team. At PetMedic, you can help shape the exciting new world of veterinary urgent care. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience
Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts

Nice To Haves

Urgent care or ER experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assist DVM and technicians with patient restraint and medical treatments
Communicate effectively with clinical team and clients
Comfortable with client education (reviewing medications, relaying treatment plans and discharge instructions)
Obtain radiographs and perform in house bloodwork
Clean exam rooms and replenish inventory as needed
