Requirements
- Previous veterinary assisting or animal care experience
- A genuine passion for animal care and client service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with animals of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment
- A reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented approach
- Confidence taking initiative and helping wherever needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Compassion for patients, clients, and fellow team members
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and procedures
- Support patient intake by gathering medical histories and taking vital signs
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals of different sizes and temperaments
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by a veterinarian
- Prepare treatment areas, instruments, and supplies for procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly sterilized clinical spaces
- Help explain treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions to clients
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with basic clerical responsibilities
- Support the hospital team in keeping appointments and daily workflows running smoothly
- Help ensure every patient feels safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit
