Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The ability to stay calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Flexibility to assist wherever needed
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care
- Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats
- Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical patients
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
- Fill medications and maintain accurate medical records
- Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Provide compassionate care to every patient and outstanding service to every client
