About The Position
VCA Pahle Animal Hospital is expanding our Patient Care Team and seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant. Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
- Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
- Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
