About The Position

Boston West Veterinary Emergency and Specialty is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to help support our surgery service located in Natick, MA. Our growing specialty and emergency surgery service is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients requiring advanced surgical treatment. You’ll work closely with our Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeons and experienced ER and specialty teams while gaining exposure to a wide variety of soft tissue, emergency, and orthopedic procedures. Requirements

Experienced Veterinary Assistant or strong desire to develop a career in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

Perform procedures, administer treatments, and conduct diagnostics to ensure patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
Create a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere for clients and patients.
Deliver seamless and personalized care that caters to the unique needs of each individual pet.
Assist during appointments and communicate with clients, both in person and over the phone.
Keep the hospital spotless and organized, contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Ensure treatment areas and exam rooms are fully stocked.
