About The Position
Premier Vet Care is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant! As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our hospital running smoothly and helping every patient feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Premier Vet Care is a three-doctor practice with a well-established, compassionate team committed to outstanding patient care. From Bernedoodles to Bengals, our patients benefit from services and technology including digital radiography, ultrasound, surgery, and alternative medicine. Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Provide compassionate, attentive care to patients throughout their visits.
- Safely handle and restrain patients as needed.
- Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, instruments, and equipment.
- Help keep patient-care areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next appointment.
- Comfort and reassure nervous or anxious pets.
- Assist with client education and communication as directed by the veterinary team.
- Support daily hospital operations and help keep patient care running smoothly.
- Collaborate with teammates and jump in wherever support is needed.
