Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician to join a dedicated, multi-doctor, AAHA-accredited team committed to exceptional patient care and client service. Requirements

Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician
Strong communication and client service skills
Positive, outgoing, and compassionate personality
Detail-oriented approach to patient care
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-doctor environment
Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care

Nice To Haves

Surgery and dental experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during exams, appointments, and procedures
Provide client education and communicate treatment plans
Perform venipuncture and assist with laboratory diagnostics
Process lab work and manage pharmacy prescription refills
Assist with radiology and imaging procedures
Support surgical and dental procedures (experience a plus)
Contribute to patient care using low-stress handling techniques
Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
Work with advanced services including ultrasound, echocardiograms, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and therapeutic laser treatments
