About The Position
VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service. Established in 1998, VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists has grown into a full-service, multi-disciplinary practice located in a new 32,000 sq. ft. facility. The hospital operates 24/7/365 and features an in-house national reference laboratory, blood bank, and an Education Center. The Advanced Imaging department is equipped with MRI, CT, C-Arm, and a Linear Accelerator. The hospital's team of specialists includes Surgeons, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, an Internist, an Emergency and Critical Care Service, a Neurosurgeon, and a Radiation Oncologist. The practice emphasizes a team approach to patient care, client service, and communication with referring veterinarians, offering a diverse caseload and advanced diagnostic tools. The location in West Palm Beach, Florida, provides a desirable climate and proximity to various living environments.
Requirements
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- Experience in emergency or specialty medicine, or several years of experience in general practice
- Flexible schedule will include some weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
