About The Position
Kennesaw Mountain Animal Hospital provides family-focused pet care tailored to individual needs, emphasizing compassion, knowledge, and quality veterinary services. Their 11,000 sq. ft. facility includes a 5,000 sq. ft. full-care hospital, a 5,000 sq. ft. Pet Resort, and a 1,000 sq. ft. area for continuing education. Requirements
- Minimum two-years’ experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician
- Experience in exam rooms, treatment/ICU area, surgery, dentals and their associated technical skills are a must
- Ability to create, monitor, and maintain detailed/accurate patient records
- Proactive mindset, with a strong ability to anticipate our doctors' needs
- An ability to effectively educate our clients about their pet’s health
- Effective Communication Skills are Paramount
- Ability/Desire to Practice Stress-Free Pet Care
- Empathy and compassion for our patients and their owners is a must
