About The Position
Seeking a Veterinary Assistant for VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital, a busy, 5-7 doctor practice located just south of Annapolis, MD. This role is for a Full Time Veterinary Assistant. The hospital has a unique culture that values each person’s individual skill and personality. The days are very busy and require a fast-paced atmosphere. The practice offers an excellent training program for those new to veterinary medicine and will help to strengthen skill sets from exam rooms to surgical suites. There is an opportunity to grow a career, with potential for schooling payment to become a licensed Vet Tech. The role involves playing with puppies and kittens as a perk. VCA is passionate about supporting Veterinary Assistants and committed to personal career development in animal care, encouraging exploration of all a Veterinary Assistant career has to offer. VCA offers Penn Foster for Veterinary Assistants to become licensed Veterinary Technicians. They create and support an inclusive work environment.
