About The Position

At Moffett Veterinary Hospital, we provide a wide range of services for dogs and cats, including preventive care, surgery (general and some orthopedics), routine dental cleaning and radiographs, in-house labs, boarding, bathing, grooming, and more. The job duties include pet restraint, triaging incoming patients, collecting and analyzing lab samples, diagnostic imaging, managing and providing nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases of varying stability, administering medications, effectively communicating treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. The role requires the ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases. Opportunities for growth are available through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Must be able to properly restrain pets
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
