Requirements

  • Ability to assist in animal restraint, lift up to 40 lbs., and work on your feet for the duration of your shift.
  • Team player, go-getter, reliable, willing to jump in when needed
  • Positive attitude and the desire to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Surgery / Dentistry experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and record patient history and client communication in a professional, detailed manner
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and clients
  • Anticipate the needs of DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy, treatments, and top-notch patient care
  • Perform quality full-body and dental radiographs for subsequent evaluation by DVMs
  • Practice fear-free & low-stress handling of patients
  • Provide surgical discharges and home care instructions to clients after patient procedures
