Requirements
- Ability to assist in animal restraint, lift up to 40 lbs., and work on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Team player, go-getter, reliable, willing to jump in when needed
- Positive attitude and the desire to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Nice To Haves
- Surgery / Dentistry experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record patient history and client communication in a professional, detailed manner
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and clients
- Anticipate the needs of DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, treatments, and top-notch patient care
- Perform quality full-body and dental radiographs for subsequent evaluation by DVMs
- Practice fear-free & low-stress handling of patients
- Provide surgical discharges and home care instructions to clients after patient procedures
