We are currently looking to hire an Experienced Part - Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. Dr. Domotor's Animal House aims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. We strive to give our customers the best personalized service possible and to create a friendly, professional work environment for our awesome staff!

Requirements

• 1+ years of veterinary experience is required
• Part-time position
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Positive team player willing to continue to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care

Nice To Haves

• Experience rooming patients
• Surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used
• Drawing blood and running bloodwork
• Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Understanding the importance of client education
• Being a positive and motivating team member
