About The Position

Kersting Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join their team. This is a fast-paced, multi-doctor small animal/avian/small mammal practice that offers a wide range of services including preventive care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology (full body and dental), and vacation boarding. The role involves direct patient care, client communication, and assisting with medical and surgical procedures. The practice offers opportunities for training and continuing development.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Must be able to properly restrain pets
Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring are a bonus!
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.

Nice To Haves

Exotic experience is preferred but not required

Triage incoming patients
