Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
VCA Market Street Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support the Doctors and Technician team and create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients. The position is located at 633 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101, and is full-time, working four 10-hour days per week. The stated salary is $19–$22 per hour, dependent on experience, education, certification, and other factors. Duties include intravenous catheter placement, venipuncture, radiology, maintaining medical records, preparing the surgical suite and surgical patients, filling prescriptions, laboratory work, and diagnostic imaging.
