Requirements
- At least one year of hands-on experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
- Compassion for patients, clients, and fellow team members
- A willingness to learn, grow, and support those around you
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
- Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas
- Administer medications as directed
- Collect laboratory samples and perform basic diagnostic testing
- Educate clients about treatments, preventative care, and patient wellness
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- Support the veterinary team in delivering exceptional patient care
