About The Position
Briarwood Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join their team. This is a fast-paced, progressive 3-doctor small animal practice that offers a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, urgent care, high-speed dentistry, cold laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasonography, medical and/or vacation boarding, and grooming. The role involves direct patient care and client communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred
- Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
- Must be able to properly restrain pets
- Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring are a bonus!
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
